Dimension Data's OpSource Profiled in Independent Research Firm's Public IAAS Clouds Market Overview Report
Vendor landscape of public IaaS clouds highlights OpSource’s SLAs and disaster recovery solutions
Santa Clara, Calif. – 24 April 2012 – OpSource, Inc., Dimension Data’s wholly-owned enterprise cloud and managed hosting business, today announced it has been highlighted in a Forrester Research, Inc November 2011 report entitled “Market Overview: Public IaaS Clouds, Q4 2011 Part 2.” The report, designed for infrastructure and operations professionals, evaluates the industry’s leading vendors on 10 different criteria ranging from self-service control to geographic reach.
Among the 17 leading cloud providers evaluated for the report, OpSource was identified by Forrester as an “Independent MSP Cloud.” Vendors in this category are managed services providers and hosting companies that offer a wider portfolio of solutions, including hybrid cloud models.
Forrester notes that OpSource is “the only vendor in this comparison that offers 100% uptime, 30-minute support response, and sub-1 ms latency SLAs.” The company was also highlighted as “one of the few providers to offer a Disaster Recovery solution atop its IaaS service.”
