Treb Ryan
Chief Executive Officer
Since 1996, Mr. Ryan has been instrumental in defining and creating services organizations that improve the quality and reliability of the technology infrastructures businesses depend on for communications and commerce. He is currently considered one of the leading thinkers in SaaS and sits on the Software Executive Board at the SIIA.
Prior to co-founding OpSource in 2002, Mr. Ryan was President of the Americas for Metromedia Fiber Network (MFN). He was responsible for integrating the sales and delivery organizations of the company's Internet businesses-hosting, IP networking, and managed services - providing customers with an integrated network and IT infrastructure solution. Mr. Ryan joined MFN from SiteSmith, a company that he co-founded in 1999 and ultimately sold to MFN in a deal valued at $1.4 billion. Prior to co-founding SiteSmith, Mr. Ryan was Vice President of Professional Services for GlobalCenter, a pioneer in the hosting and Internet services marketplace. Mr. Ryan has been a guest speaker at numerous industry events, including CIO, venture capital, Internet, hosting, and software conferences. He attended UCLA and is an advisor to the UCLA CLAS fund.
John Rowell
Chief Technology Officer
Over the past decade, Mr. Rowell has held senior management positions with leading hosting, telecommunications, and Internet services companies. He has extensive experience building, operating, and managing complex global IT infrastructure systems that are able to scale to meet dynamic business requirements.
Prior to co-founding OpSource, Mr. Rowell led a team of over 500 people as Vice President of Operations for Metromedia Fiber Network (MFN). He was responsible for the delivery of managed services and the operation of the MFN data centers in the Americas, supporting leading enterprise customers including BP Amoco, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan Chase, Microsoft, Paramount, and Sony. He joined MFN through the acquisition of SiteSmith, where he was Vice President of Operations.
Before joining SiteSmith, Mr. Rowell was Director of Enterprise Services for UUNET Technologies, where he led the team responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing support of large-scale enterprise environments in an outsourced model. Clients included AutoNation, Disney, The Go Network, Levi Strauss, Marriott International, mySap.com, Sony Playstation, and Symantec.
Mr. Rowell holds a B.S. from the University of Alabama and attended the masters program for engineering management at George Washington University.
Keao Caindec
SVP and Chief Marketing Officer
Mr. Caindec brings to the company 18 years of marketing leadership for innovative managed services, telecommunications and Internet services companies. At OpSource, Mr. Caindec is responsible for the company's worldwide marketing operations including marketing strategy, branding, communications and programs.
Prior to OpSource, Mr. Caindec was Chief Marketing Officer of Reliance Globalcom, a global communications provider with more than $1.6 billion in annual revenues. Prior to that role, Mr. Caindec was Chief Marketing Officer of Yipes Enterprise Services, a leading managed network and application delivery company acquired by Reliance Communications and later renamed Reliance Globalcom. Mr. Caindec was also a principal and founder of Farallon Technology Resources, a solutions provider for acceleration, content distribution and IP route control. Mr. Caindec has held executive and senior management positions in marketing and business development at British Telecom, MCI Communications, Internap, CyberCash (acquired by Verisign) and ATMnet (acquired by NTT Verio). A frequent speaker at industry conferences, Mr. Caindec has also been quoted in leading publications such as Network World, Light Reading, Telephony, Capacity and Wall Street & Technology.
Mr. Caindec has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He has served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Panorama Capital and a Technology Advisor to Bigstep.com (acquired by Affinity Internet) and Achex (acquired by FDC).
Jon Beck
SVP Worldwide Channels & Alliances
An industry veteran of fourteen years, Mr. Beck brings experience shaping the growth of IP infrastructure and communications industry. Mr. Beck has held positions of increasing responsibility with companies such as Critical Path, Netcom (acquired by EarthLink), Global Center (acquired by Exodus), and Genuity (acquired by Level 3 Communications) and most recently as Chief Operating Officer at Pandora Networks, a leading VoIP messaging company where he managed marketing, sales and field support in the U.S. and U.K. Prior to joining Pandora Networks, he founded the consulting firm Top Bunk Consulting, providing sales, marketing and operations consulting services to, among others, Click Commerce and Aurema.
Mr. Beck has managed zero to multi-million dollar growth, multi-national product launches and field operations across North America, Central-Latin America, Asia-Pacific and European regions. He frequently lectures to corporations and business schools on ethics and integrity in the workplace.
Mr. Beck earned his BA in psychology from the University of California, Berkeley . He has served on several non-profit boards and is an active volunteer for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and is a working member of the Screen Actors Guild.
Don Green
Senior Vice President of Product Management
A seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience, Mr. Green has grown businesses in the SaaS, mobile application and LBS industries. His expertise includes developing and marketing on-demand services to enterprises.
Prior to joining OpSource, Mr. Green was VP of Marketing and Product Management at iBreva, a mobile phone based payment service provider. At Tele Atlas, the second largest provider of geographic information data worldwide, he developed the product concept and business model for a new SOA/web services technology that was funded. As Director of Product Management at @Road, a SaaS provider of wireless services to business clients, Mr. Green managed the development and launch of multiple products during the company's revenue growth from $1m/year to $20m/year. He has also held senior positions in engineering and manufacturing in the technology industry.
Mr. Green holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, an MS in Engineering from Stanford University, and an AB in Applied Mathematics from UC Berkeley.

Tom Kress
SVP WW Sales, Channels, & Alliances
Prior to OpSource, Tom was VP of Sales at DotNetNuke, the world’s largest Open Source WCM “dot.net” solution not owned by Microsoft. At DNN he created all facets of sales and lead generation growing subscription revenue from 0-$10M in 24 months, while adding 1200 new customers in 30 countries. DNN’s explosive growth was one of the greatest starts in the history of open source software.
Previous to DNN, Kress was VP of Sales at Hyperic, an open source Systems Management Company. Kress built the sales model, driving revenue from $300k to $8M. Hyperic merged with “sister company” Spring Source in April 2009 and the combined entity was sold to VMware for $420M, with a 15x multiple of revenue.
Kress also spent 5 years at Internap (NASDAQ:INAP). He joined Internap when they were 15 people as the first sales Director and rose to VP of North American Sales. During Kress’s first 29 months, revenue grew from $10k to $11M per month. He also exceeded his monthly quota for a record 32 consecutive months that helped facilitate a $2B IPO.
