San Francisco, Calif.— May 16, 2011—OpSource, Inc., the leader in enterprise cloud and managed hosting, today announced that CEO Treb Ryan will be giving a keynote at All About the Cloud, which takes place May 23-26 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, Calif. The conference, presented by the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) and OpSource, will focus on all aspects of the continually evolving cloud computing market. Ryan will discuss the importance, best practices and benefits of cloud-to-cloud peering. More than fifty CEOs and senior executives of leading cloud computing solution companies will be speaking at the event.
Ryan’s keynote, titled “Cloud Peering: Who Gets Paid?,” will outline the benefits and best practices for carriers, public cloud providers and enterprises to interconnect clouds safely. Additionally, Ryan will detail the lessons learned from the telecom industry regarding standards, federations and exchanges, driving discussion that will help companies continue to move the cloud industry forward.
“As more companies move into the cloud, and the number of public and private clouds increases, cloud-to-cloud peering becomes increasingly important,” said Ryan. “Carriers, public cloud providers and enterprises will all walk away from this keynote with a better feel for the best practices, standards and benefits of cloud peering, which will be a true driver as the cloud industry continues to evolve.”
